Ariana and Fernando's love story began in October of 2020 when they met through mutual friends at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. The couple grew closer over shared values, backgrounds, and a mutual love of food and cats. In May of 2021, the couple graduated with their bachelor's degrees from Texas Tech University and celebrated with each other's families.

Soon after graduation, Fernando earned a job opportunity and moved to Dallas. Ariana remained in Lubbock to pursue her master's degree. Undeterred by the physical distance, their relationship continued to grow with nightly FaceTime calls and monthly visits. In 2023, Ariana successfully defended her master's thesis and secured a job in Fort Collins, CO and the couples' next journey together began!

In April of 2023, the couple packed just a mattress and their beloved cat Brandy in the car and moved to a state where they knew no one, to a town they had never even been to! Their time living in Colorado was full of adventure and growth. On September 14, 2024, Fernando proposed to Ariana in the beautiful flower gardens in Fort Collins, CO. Soon after, in November, Ariana got a new job in Austin, TX and the couple (and Brandy) travelled nearly 1,000 miles to be closer to home and begin planning their lives and wedding together.

Now, the couple is eagerly anticipating their wedding day and celebration of their enduring love and commitment to each other. Their story, which has taken them to 2 states and 3 cities is a testament to the strength of their love for each other. They are looking forward to family and friends joining them for this beautiful day!

La historia de amor de Ariana y Fernando comenzó en octubre de 2020, cuando se conocieron a través de amigos en común en la Universidad Tecnológica de Texas en Lubbock, Texas. Poco después, en noviembre, Ariana consiguió un nuevo trabajo en Austin, Texas, y la pareja (y Brandy) viajaron casi 1,000 miles para estar más cerca de casa y comenzar a planificar su vida y boda juntos.
